The below items have all been sold but we would like to remind you to visit your local ReStore to help Habitat for Humanity.
The architectural salvage from the Sanger house is now on display at the ReStore – Waukesha County Habitat for Humanity Waukesha Preservation Alliance assisted Habitat with the inventory and historical information on the house. All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity to further their mission. The craftsmanship on the millwork is beautiful and many of the details are hand-carved. We believe that the items were made at Casper Sanger’s Sash and Door Company in Milwaukee. The fireplace tiles are English. More information is on the pictures of the tiles. Please come and learn the history, and view these beautiful pieces before they head to their new homes. Also, available at the Restore is the book Spring City’s Past published by the Waukesha Landmarks Commission. The proceeds from the book go for the restoration of the springs in Waukesha. This was a tragic loss for Waukesha.
Preview/viewing will be April 2nd-6th.
